Yes!!! We are.........

Pregnant!!!!! For those of you that didn't catch on in one of my previous blog entrees, we are going to have another baby(and very excited about it)!!! I just went to the doctor this last tuesday and was told that my due date is June 15th. So that means that I am 12 weeks today. I was able to hear the heartbeat and the midwife said that everything looks good. I have been pretty sick for the last 6 weeks, maybe just a little worse than when I was pregnant with Evie. But the last couple of days have been pretty good. So I am hopeful that I have made a turn for the better(I know that Andy would be very happy about that). We wanted to have another baby, but didn't know it would happen so fast. But we are glad that they will be close together, they will be great playmates. We had also really wanted to be in a new house before we had our next child, but God had other things in store. With Andy's new job situation, we just can't afford to move right now and the housing market for selling our place isn't great either. But we are so thankful for the home that we do have, and we will just have to make room somewhere:)
So that is a little update on our family, we will definately keep you all in the loop!

The day after Thanksgiving

On the day after Thanksgiving Andy, Evie and I went down to Macy's along with my parents and siblings. We went up to the 8th flour to see the display of the Nutcracker. They always do a wonderful job of telling the story in picture windows and Evie just loved it. My mom even took her back through a second time because she just couldn't get enough!! Here are some pictures that we took while we were there.

Here we are before we went through.

Evie looking at one of the windows.

Standing by a pretty picture.

Here she wanted to run right over and touch something!

When we were all done walking through the Nutcracker, we went out to get our christmas tree. Every year we have gone and cut down our own. It was pretty cold this year so we all got bundled up and went walking around to see if we could find the perfect one. Evie was wearing a snowsuit that my little brother had when he was little. It wasn't a girls snowsuit, but it kept her very warm:) After we found our tree and cut it down, we all went out to lunch. It was a very long day but we had a wonderful time!

Here we are out looking for our tree.

Andy being silly!!

Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving we went out to my parents house. There were only eight of us, so it was nice and relaxing. We had great food and enjoyed watching the packers win!!!! After lunch some of us took naps and Evie enjoyed playing with grandma's fun toys. Some of them are toys that I used to play with, I guess that means the toys are very old:) Here are some pictures of what our day was like!

wow..................

I didn't realize that it had been so long since I have posted something. I can't believe how fast time can get away from us. It seems like I just blinked and October was gone. Now we are only 2 weeks from Thanksgiving!!!! There wasn't too much that happened for us in October. Evie started walking and is enjoying her new found freedom so much!!!!! She loves to walk all over our living room and dining room. Andy is still working at his new job and getting used to it. Although it isn't his favorite thing to do, we are so thankful that God brought him this job just in time. I have been feeling under the weather lately, nothing too serious. I guess that is just what happens when you are expecting:)
I hope that all is well with everyone, and I will try my best to post sooner next time!
Here Evie is trying out walking for the first time and playing with her puzzles.

Evie stays with my mom while I go to work, and one day they went to a little farm/orchard. Evie really enjoyed seeing all the animals and just being silly!!

Here she is petting a chick.

Such a serious face!!

Some favorite pictures

Here are some favorite pictures that I have taken in the last couple of weeks.
Enjoy!!

Evie's first haircut

On friday night, Evie got her first haircut. She was going to have her pictures taken on saturday and I thought that it would be a good time to give her her first cut. She did really well, as long as we gave her something to snack on and play with:)

Here we are getting ready.

First cut!

Just a little bit off the back.

All done!

Evie's First Birthday!!!

Evie turned one this last friday, we just can't believe that time has gone by so fast! Our little baby has turned into a very cute little girl, and we thank God for her everyday:) On Evie's birthday, I took her into Wayzata to take some pictures of her. She had so much fun exploring all the new things around her(she even tried to taste some of them)!

She liked the tree, but she wouldn't give it a hug:)

Here she is trying to eat some leaves.

The fence was very long, she loved walking along it.

Later in the evening, Andy took a picture of us on our patio.

On Saturday afternoon we had Evie's birthday party. But I surprised Andy and Krista and invited lots of family and a few friends to come to a surprise party for them at the same time. They both turned the big 30 this last month. They had no idea when we showed up that the party was for them too!!!! I was so thankful that I hadn't given away the surprise, thank you to everyone that kept the surprise too!!
We had a great time mingling with everyone that came and enjoyed really good cake and snacks too. Evie had no idea that the party was for her, she just loved being around lots of people. She didn't quite know what to think of her cake. She had fun playing with the frosting and the ducks that came with it. I gave her a piece of the cake and she didn't like it at all. Then after a while she didn't want to have anything to do with the cake. So we moved on to the gifts:)
This is Evie's Birthday cake

She didn't quite know what to think of it.

Here she started picking at it.

mmmmm..... yummy frosting!!

Hey mom look, I have a blue tongue!

Here we are opening her gifts. She got some very nice things!

Grandma gave Evie her first doll, she tried to eat the hair!

Here is our family.

After the party, Andy took Evie swimming!

Evie was given this really cool tunnel, she loved crawling through it when we got home.

We had a very wonderful and long day! A big "thank you" to everyone that helped out and to all those that came to the party. It wouldn't have been a party without you:)!!

Minnetonka Apple Orchard

On Sunday night we went to the Minnetonka Apple Orchard. We had a great time looking at pumpkins, going on a hayride and eating good food. There was a train for the kids to play on, a sandbox that Micah just loved, and there were even animals for the the kids to look at. Evie loved touching and smelling lots of new things.

Here is Evie's first time feeling a pumpkin!

This one was almost her size:)

Daddy and Evie on a tractor.

Here we are on the hayride.

We had a great time at the apple orchard, hope you enjoy the pictures:)!!

Grandma and her great-grandkids!!

On Saturday, Andy's cousin Jeremy(he is a missionary to Brazil), his wife Barb and their little girl Kayleigh were here for a visit. We got to take some cute pictures of the cousins together and we also got a really cute one with Grandma and her great-grandkids!!! It was a little hard to get them all happy and looking at the same time, but we managed to do it:) The kids had a great time getting to know each other and the adults had fun chatting too.

Kayleigh, Evie, Micah, and Ben all sitting so nicely together:)

Grandma was so happy to have almost all of her great-grandkids together.

Evie in a hat

It got a lot colder last week, so I pulled out some of Evie's warmer clothes. We had fun trying on a few outfits, this is a sweater and hat that Evie's great aunt Janet made for her. Isn't she cute!!!! I just had to take a picture and share it with you:)!!
