Shopping

Evie and I just love going shopping together! Our favorite store is Target, and we probably go there too much. Evie normally sits in her car seat in the cart, but just the other day I decided that she could sit in the cart like a big girl. She just loved it!!! She got so excited that I had to make the seat belt tighter so she wouldn't fall out.

She is so funny when she gets excited, she sticks her tongue out! And if you look really close, you can see her teeth:) She just got her 4th tooth yesterday!

It is so amazing how fast they go from little babies to toddlers. But everyday you can't wait to see what new thing they are going to do next.

Family Reunion

This last saturday, we went out to Buffalo to the Bergstrom Family Reunion! This is Andy's Grandma's family and there were about 170 people there. We had a great time catching up with family, and meeting new people for the first time. It was a really hot day and we tried to stay in the shade as much as possible!

Andy's cousin Shawna, her husband Eddy and their little girl Emma enjoyed their lunch too. And in the middle looking a lot like Jesus, is Andy's cousin Bryan( he is also Shawna's brother).

We had a great afternoon eating good food and having some ice cream too. Evie got pretty tired after a while so we decided to go home. I guess that's what happens when you have kids, they pretty much run the show!

The Park

Evie just loves going to the little park right by our townhouse. It is really nice having it so close when we don't have a yard to play in. The park has a couple of swings and some really nice slides that Evie can't quite use yet. So most of the time we just swing!!

Then after awhile we go and sit in the grass. Evie didn't like the grass at first, but she has gotten used to it. She just tries really hard to eat it, so cute!

You may not be able to tell in this picture, but we think that she is going to have red hair!!! I am so excited about that!!!!! But even if she doesn't, we'll still keep her:)

Backtracking

for those of you that we don't see very often, i will back track for you and tell you about our last month.

we had a great 4th of July! we went out to delano for the parade and then over to my parents for lunch afterwards. Evie really enjoyed the parade until the motercycles went by, they were pretty loud. then about half way through she fell asleep which was great because the parade was during her nap.

this last month Evie is really starting to crawl more and also started pulling up on everything. she just cruises around the living room and pulls up on everything that she can. she talks the whole time that she is playing, of course we can't understand her but it is cute anyway:) she also started getting teeth this month. she has three so far and is working on her fourth. she gets a little crabby but is still sleeping throught the night(i'm really happy about that!).

we went swimming for the first time this last week. my friend Tandi and i got together at her sisters house to do hair and we also got to go swimming in their pool.

Evie didn't like it very much at first, but once she got used to the water she loved it!!!!

this morning we got to watch another parade, it was the festival of the lakes this weekend. Evie loved watching all the fun floats go by, and we got lots of candy too!

well, i hope that i was able to catch some of you up a little bit on what has been happening around here. we are certainly enjoying our summer.

Finally

well, we have finally joined the blogging world, some would say that it took us long enough. we have really enjoyed reading our friends and families blogs and seeing what is going on in their lives. so we will try to share with you a little bit of what our world is like.
