Minnetonka Apple Orchard

On Sunday night we went to the Minnetonka Apple Orchard. We had a great time looking at pumpkins, going on a hayride and eating good food. There was a train for the kids to play on, a sandbox that Micah just loved, and there were even animals for the the kids to look at. Evie loved touching and smelling lots of new things.

Grandma and her great-grandkids!!

On Saturday, Andy's cousin Jeremy(he is a missionary to Brazil), his wife Barb and their little girl Kayleigh were here for a visit. We got to take some cute pictures of the cousins together and we also got a really cute one with Grandma and her great-grandkids!!! It was a little hard to get them all happy and looking at the same time, but we managed to do it:) The kids had a great time getting to know each other and the adults had fun chatting too.

It got a lot colder last week, so I pulled out some of Evie's warmer clothes. We had fun trying on a few outfits, this is a sweater and hat that Evie's great aunt Janet made for her. Isn't she cute!!!! I just had to take a picture and share it with you:)!!

Softball Tournament

This last saturday Perry, Tim and Andy played in a softball tournament. It was cold and windy and it even rained a little bit during the day. But we all survived and even enjoyed ourselves. Evie and Micah enjoyed playing in the grass and dirt and didn't mind that it was a little cooler, they just loved being outside. The guys did very well, they got 5th place.

Labor Day

On Monday, September 3rd we went to Baker Park with Andy's parents and Krista, Micah and Ben. We had hotdogs on the grill, chips, carrots, watermelon and homemade cookies!!! yummy! The day was so beautiful, there was a nice breeze and it wasn't too hot. After we ate lunch we played on the play ground for awhile. There weren't any little swings so Grandma B took Evie for a swing on the tire swing. Then we walked down to the beach and put our toes in the water. Both Micah and Evie really wanted to put their whole bodies in the water, but we didn't bring our swimming suits. We had a wonderful day together!!:)

Evie is 11 months old!

Sorry that it has taken me so long to write on our blog. We have been busy hanging out with family, Andy started a new job, and Evie and I just got sick this last week. But I just wanted to post some pictures that I took last week of Evie when she turned 11 months old. It is so hard to believe that she will be 1 at the end of this month. She is just a little thing and doesn't weight much at all. But she loves exploring around our house and getting into anything that she can. She is also working on her 5th tooth, I think that is why she isn't feeling good.
